 The 2015 Jamie McEwan Whitewater Triple Crown kayak races next weekend
(April 25 & 26) in Tariffville Gorge.  
The Triple Crown draws expert whitewater paddlers from all over North America.

Win a Jackson Kayak for only $10

FRWA and the East Granby Public Library are selling raffle tickets for a Jackson Kayak Cruise Angler 12Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the East Granby Library or the FRWA office.  Drawing will be held on May 11 at 11am at the East Granby Public Library.  Winner need not be present to win.  Only 200 tickets will be sold!
Natural Lawn Care Workshops in May!
Join Aimee Petras (FRWA's Education & Outreach Coordinator) for a workshop on managing your lawn
naturally without using lawn chemicals of fertilizers. She will outline tips for mowing, seeding, watering and ways to manage common weeds and pests that can complicate natural lawn care.
Upcoming workshop dates:

May 2, 9 - 10:30 am, Winding Trails, Farmington CT.
Registration is required by 3 days prior on the Winding Trails Website.
May 7, 7 - 8:30 pm, Program Room, Simsbury Public Library, Simsbury CT. Registration available online at the Simsbury Public Library Website Calendar.
